TheInsight263 is an independent news publication covering Zimbabwe and its diaspora — the stories that matter at home, and the ones that follow Zimbabweans wherever they’ve settled abroad. We report on politics, business, culture, and the everyday realities of building a life across two (or more) countries at once.
Our newsroom is based in Harare, with contributing reporters and correspondents across the diaspora — from London and Stockholm to Johannesburg, New York, and beyond. That split perspective is deliberate: we think the news that shapes Zimbabwe and the news that shapes its diaspora are usually the same story, told from different sides of a border.

Our Approach
We’re a small newsroom, which means every story gets read by more than one person before it’s published. We’d rather publish something a day later and get it right than be first and get it wrong. If we make a mistake, we correct it publicly, not quietly.
