We asked the same question on the streets of London, Sydney and Toronto: what does "home" mean to you? The answers, from second-generation Zimbabweans who in some cases have never set foot in the country, were far more varied than we expected.

Some pointed to a specific dish, a language they're only just learning as adults, or a grandmother's house they've only seen in photographs. Others pushed back on the premise entirely, arguing that home is wherever they've built their own life.
