MARONDERA — A plane has crashed in the Marondera Rural area, with six people reportedly on board.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed that the aircraft crashed at around 5 pm this evening, with emergency teams and police attending the scene.

The condition of the six occupants was not immediately known.

Police said more details would be released in due course as authorities continue to attend to the crash site and establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
