TheInsight263 exists to inform, not to flatter or provoke. These standards describe how we try to earn readers’ trust, and what to do if we fall short of them.
Accuracy First
Every story is checked against its sources before publication. Where we can’t independently confirm a claim, we say so plainly rather than presenting it as settled fact. We attribute information to its source wherever possible.
Independence
Our reporting is not for sale. Sponsored or paid content is always clearly labelled as such, and never influences our news coverage. No advertiser, politician, or business has editorial control over what we publish.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and note that a correction was made. We don’t quietly edit published stories to cover up a mistake. If you believe we’ve published an inaccuracy, contact us and we’ll look into it.
Comments and Community
Reader comments are welcome on our articles but are moderated. We remove comments that are abusive, defamatory, or clearly off-topic, and reserve the right to hide or delete any comment at our discretion.
Sourcing
We prefer named, on-the-record sources. Where anonymity is necessary to protect someone from real risk, we say so and explain why — anonymity is never used simply for convenience.
