Harare – Police in Hatfield have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the alleged murder of his wife following a domestic dispute at Maruwa Farm Compound.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) identified the suspect as Stephen Sarurai, who was arrested after the death of his 26-year-old wife, Zvikomborero Tari, on 17 September 2026.

According to police, Sarurai allegedly strangled Tari with a shoelace following a domestic dispute arising from allegations of infidelity.

The investigation is continuing, with police urging members of the public to seek peaceful ways of resolving domestic disputes.
