BEATRICE — Police in Beatrice have arrested three suspects in connection with a stock theft case involving 17 Boer cross-breed goats.

Enerst Majoni, 38; Tawana Matawu, 18; and Starlin Chari, 31, were arrested following the theft, which occurred on 10 September 2026, according to the Zimbabwe Republic Police.

Police recovered 16 of the goats after the suspects were allegedly found driving them through bushes about 10 kilometres from the complainant’s plot.

Further investigations led to the recovery of another goat at one of the suspects’ homesteads, bringing the total number of recovered goats to 17.

Police are continuing with investigations into the case.
